Created in 2017, the Music & Medicine Orchestra at Virginia Commonwealth University is one of the few, academic medical symphony orchestras in the country and consists of health system team members. The orchestra aims to promote wellness; enhance relationships among team members, patients, families, visitors and the community; and to support fundraising for local health related charities.
